Trip down to Penrith

Yesterday I had to do a few things in Penrith, so Nick, Stephy and I court the train down, the kids love the train, but after 1/2 hour they started to get bored with i spy games.so the next 1/2 they were driving me up the rail.

so out came the camera and the kids posed like little models.

We got to Penrith and the first thing we saw was the Easter bunny well let me tell you, that it was great because i said on the train if you guys are good the Easter bunny will come soon,so the first thing Nick said was, that he must of been good on the train because the man in the bunny is here LOL, yes you do read that right he said the man in the bunny.

Oliver who is 7 1/2 years old still thinks the bunny is real, and nick who is 4 1/2 worked it out(well maybe this bunny).

Oliver and Nick loves the 70's look, Nick says it looks cool, Oliver say he looks like a Vampire.

Stephy wouldn't look at him and walked straight past him, that is a first, because she is a dad's girl.

EARTH HOUR

In case you didn't know, last night between 7:30pm and 8:30pm was EARTH HOUR where all of Sydney turning of their lights to help reduce greenhouse emissions.I think its a great idea and if we can all help spread the word, then there will be plenty more people who will join in too!!

Even the Swiss Cottage Restaurant (where I work) did it whilst serving customers, it was alot of fun, the customers eating in candle light(hey it could be a new thing for them lol).in the kitchen we had to put the lights on but we did our bit.

Matt did it at home too but i think it was off for the rest of the night. I came home late with Matt asleep in his chair in the dark LOL.

wow what a great weekend we had, well it would of been better if I didn't have to work. We had Matt's brother over, so he could help Matt out to fix some tiles. So B got his lovely wife and kids down too. I had so much fun with the kids, my little nephew was a star of a baba, he is so cute, every time he saw me he would smile, but every time he saw the camera, he had this look of "how you doing".

My Niece has grown up so much, she is a real big kid. She was so great with her cousins, she made time with all 3 of my kids(one on one time).

It was so nice to have a good chat with my sister in law, to know that it's so normal that life is so hard to work out with the kids and household problems, with a young hard working family has to go through.

Thank you so much for a fun time we had this weekend, you guys are welcome anytime, we will see you in a few weeks.

IT'S BEEN TO LONG

Wow I feel like crying with happiness, I spoke to someone for the first time in 10 years, wow 10 years. She was my bestest friend, when (we) I was growing up. We were always called the girls, it was always Kim and Marie. We were friends for 15 years, not only friends but best friends, we lived next door to each other ,we were at the same primary and high school together, we got expelled together, and then the same work place together. It's like the saying,“"A good friend will come bail you out of jail, but a true friend will be sitting next to you saying...'Damn, that was fun!'"”. That was us. Everyone knew us as one.

So you are saying why did you two stop being friend, well it was a boy, well kim's boyfriend, and I wanted to get myself out of the crowd.

So after all these years we spoke, she walked in at my old work place at the pet shop and started to talk to Joe my old boss/good mate. He said to her that he talks to me all the time, so he called me when she was there. Well it was like old times, half an hour later I said to her that I will call her tonight, because it was Joe's phone at work lol.

OMG we are wearing hypercolour t-shirts on that photo. OMG I'm so old.
