WE have made it to ANNA BAY

Well we are here, and loving everyday of it. Life a beach. It's a skip and a hop to the beach, skate park and park. The kids go swimming most days after school. On the weekend we go fishing, driving on the sand domes, and always outdoors.

Kids are loving the new school,they fitted in great,the school is heaps bigger then the last which is good.

I still pinch myself on most days because we have been wanting to do this move for years and now we are here.

Anyway here are some photo so far, heaps move to came.

I know it's been a long time,Things are moving so fast around here at the moment it's hard to get time to blog.

We are putting the house on the market, so we have been sorting things out, there is so much stuff. We will be going up to Nelson bay to rent for a while before we find some land to buy. I have to say I'm so looking forward to it, the big move. we have been wanting to do it for years now but things never worked out. so fingers cross that the house will sell.

I have started a Horticulture course this year, so now I'm an apprentice to Matt. It's been great going back to school/tafe and getting into the business. the great thing is that I can finish it off up in Nelson bay too.

so much more to tell but not today.

Ok so I'm back from port douglas a week away from the kids was a dream. we took my cousin and his new wife with us, we did so much and had so much fun, even when cyclone charlotte, and king tides hit us. We got up in the morning with downstairs underwater matt did some waterskiing in the lounge room.

It was so lovely there, the people up there are so nice and helpful. (Katoomba tourism has alot to answer for)

we stayed at Rendezvous resort, very nice place, great pools too

OMG I have to say Matt and I bungy jumped YES thats right 50m up, I was scared so scared that i forgot how to sit down on the top, I couldn't think, the only thing i was saying is" why the hell am I up here" and " don't look down ". But I did it, I hit the water. would I do it again? YES it was the best feeling. That after all four of us was going skydiving. however the weather turned into a huge storm, so we rebooked it on the friday morning before coming back home, we got up in the morning with blue sky, all pumped, an hour drive later a storm hit cairans so we didn't jump, not happy jan.

we did two trips to the great barrier reef for some snorkelling, swam with the turtles.

The 3 days of xmas

we had a great xmas this year, we went up to Nelson Bay,The sun was shining and it wasn't to hot. On the 24th we went to the beach to have a splash around at one mile beach, Meg and the two kids came with us and Dom was itching to go for a surf, it was lovely to be outdoors with the young ones. The water did have a bit of a bite of cold, but the kids didn't care

Meg and the kids wasn't going to be with us for xmas day so we did a little xmas opening for the kids, Lexi just loved her new undies YES thats right undies, she couldn't stop folding them putting them on then folding them again priceless. Eoghan got a real kids tool set,well he was so over the moon about it that he couldn't stop looking at it, after 1/2 hour later he got it open. so sweet at that age.

XMAS EVE Katrina and bernad came over with the kids to little beach to have fish and chips on the beach, I have to say I love this beach, The photos didn't turn out : ( but there will be a next time.

Xmas day was a lot of eating, drinking, swimming, singing and laughing, that's what xmas is about. at about 1am in the morning i had to pull Matt off the sing star because we had to be back on the road at 3.30 am to drive back to the mountains. Now that was a hard start. we got to mum's at about 8 am we had a lovely breakfast, and started xmas again.

To finish the year off we went to friends house to party the night away, well the kids partied move then the us.

Matt and I only have one week to go before we go away for a week, Cairns here we came.

Xmas is just around the corner now, i love it, starting to put a few things out this week. I dont think i'm going to put the lights outside this year, it so much work to put them up but even more pulling them down, only time will tell.

On sunday we went to see a friend who had a baby 6 weeks ago, Omg i have forgot how small babies are, wow i cant believe how fast the kids are growing up so fast . look how small she is.

The kids love eating the homemade pizzas that they make at mum's and dad's place, we always have a great time making wood-fire pizzas.

Well it's been a very busy few weeks here in the killick's house, Lot's of planing and running.
It's like this all the time but i thought i should write a few things down so here comings the point form way.

*OH this is what Stephy's hair looks like after getting it out.

FRANCE 10 V'S SAMOA 42

* we got free tickets to see the rugby world cup a month ago, so when we found out it was France playing we went down to watch the game, big upset it would of been better if snails were playing. but it was a great family day out.

* Stephy got her first big hair cut this week, cut all the curly curls out.

The kids had an ABBA spectacular at the school, wow it was amazing, every kid did a fab job. Oliver sang" SOS" and Nick sang "That a chance on me"

OK just a Quick post look how great Stephy looks with her hair all in Braids, it told 2 1/2 hours to do, we had time to watch Mary Poppins and Dr Phil.

Hehehehhe, Matt and I gave the kids a lolly the other day, but I don't know why they didn't like it hehhehe "WARHEADS".

so after a few months waiting for our veggies to grow, we have been eating off our lands (it's so nice to say that) we have been eating Spanish for about a month, now we have broadbeans, and lettuce. we had alot of problems with the carrots, so we pulled them out and had a meal out of that, just say they were baby carrots. We have restarted with new veggies leek,cabbage,lettuce,capsicum,tomato,watermelon,pumpkin,squash,cucumbers,corn and chillies.

Well we had a lovely time at Nelson bay on the long weekend, it was so lovely to get away from the wet mountains, the weather wasn't the best there too but it was a change of seen. The kids had a really great time with there cousins too, I always get so much joy when they get along so good. Here is a photo of my lovely niece and nephew Emily and Ben. (see Emily your on the net hehhehe).

The kids had fun playing around in the park for an hour before the rain came back to get us.

On the Monday Matt and the boys went to the movie to see Indiana Jones,while Stephy and I went window shopping at Nelson bay, so many nice thing to buy.

we had time to have a play in the sand before the rain came again, it was bucketing down.

I know I'm bad but it's been a mad house here the last few weeks. It's been the good, the bad, and the ugly here.

Anyway first thing first Oliver came 1st in cross country race at the school last week so he went to go into district this week, he went really well 9Th out of 100 well done Oliver, very proud of him.

I have to say I have the most lovely people around me at the moment, And how lucky I'm to have there support and love with me. things have been hard around here but without them I would be in all sorts. I would love to say Thank you to Pom and Tony for the flowers and bubbly you sent me from England you guys are my rock. I cant wait to see you soon. To Angela, love getting your messages it means so much to me. hope to see you soon.

I found out a mate of ours has pass away last week, I cant believe it, It's really been a shock to me this week. James you will be misses your heart was huge, there is so many people who has missed out, but Matt and I will never forget you. R.I.P

Hi guys yes I know I have been bad with updating my Blog but it's been one of those weeks when days just fly by, It's been a great week for taking photos with storms and lots of sun. I went out to a lookout at Katoomba while there was a storm it was amazing I was walking in 10cm of hail to get a few shots (no photo of that DAM.) Then the next day I was back to take photos of the best view I have everseen up here.

hey everyone I know it's been a long time but I have been so busy that I have not had time to think about putting a post up. It's only going to be a short one too, I want to show you guys my new back yard (still a bit to do but it's great as is). We have a new outdoor sitting area with the pebbles under your feet love it heaps, the new pave part, it's great for the kids to play on eg handball, basketball (still need to put up ring), riding bikes. The new bigger and better shed is up. The veggie patch is growing like mad. so like you can see we have been busy but it works out so much better for us Like this and in a few months when the new plants start to grow bigger it will look fab. that is it from this side of the world be good and safe.

well we have saved a little one this week meet Beckham he is so cute, I think he is cuter then David what do you think? Beckham is 7 weeks old he was born on my birthday, I have forgotten how playful kittens are at the wrong time of the day/night hehehe. The kids love him Oliver named it Beckham because it was playing soccer with a foil ball, Nick baby's it which it loves, Stephy is the only one who has not connected to it, give it time and they will be right. Fluer isn't to happy about the new one but Fluer will not hurt him. Issy wants to play with him but no way will Beckham will go near the dog hehehehe(I don't blame it).

Wow what a week I have had, not only it was a short week because of the long weekend but it was busy with school things and work.

We had a lovely Easter, Kids just love looking for choc eggs in the garden, but like it was wet in the morning the choc eggs were inside (I'm still finding same around the house hehhehe). Later in the morning we went to mum's and dad's place to find choc eggs everywhere in the garden, After a few hours playing outdoors we had a Raclette yum one of my fav meals You grill your Raclette/mix cheese at your table. The melting cheese served with potatoes,pickles, a green salad, cold meat. (blog will not let me put more photos up gggrrr)

On the Monday a big group of mates went for a bush walk to Minni hahaha falls It was so lovely to see the kids play around in the water, we were just about to get the picnic out when a huge storm came but I mean huge, we didn't even had time to say bye, everyone run to the cars ,it rain buckets. LOL lol LOL

.oh I went on a school excursion this week too, down to the city with the little guys. Lots of fun but very very tiring 4 adults and 20 kids, man the kids can run LOL

A get away to the county makes me feel so much better about our land that we live in. We are lucky to know friends who live in the county. It's so lovely to be outdoors after all the rain we have had the last few weeks. The boys had fun on the quid bikes and us girls had a great time with the animals.

HEY wow i have a few hours to myself today,so what better to do is to clean the house, put a few loads of washing on,and update my blog.

I have been working so much this week I'm feeling a bit loss in time, the time I drop the boys to school put stephy in day care and start working it's time to pick the kids up,then there is homework then dinner then put the kids to bed.

This week I started cleaning a bed and breakfast place it was only supose to be one place but it looks like it will be 3 to 4 places, it's great because I can take stephy with me if she is not in daycare, great money no fuss.So it looks like that is going to be 2 to 3 times a week, then the other days in the garden with matt. it will be full on this year but I'm Really looking forward to it.

This week Stephy had a play mate Miss Mindy they are so girly when they are together, it's very cute. So like i had a new model around I had to get the camara out. LOOK at the lovely Blue eyes Mindy has (watch out dad get the shotgun ready).

Started climbing again now that the holidays are over.I was a bit sore the next day hehehe I will update photos on the next post because the blog will not let me put more photos : (

WELL what a week we have had this week. My baby Nick started school, this is a huge step for him, if you know nick you will know he is a very shy kid. so I was very scared how he will go at school, so the night before I didn't sleep well because that day he was glued to me the whole day.

anyway at 7.30am i asked Nick if he was looking forward to going to school today and he said that he had a sore throat (great it has already started).

The time came to take him to school and he was fine the minute he walked in the class, he sat down and played on his own for a little (at this time i was getting a bit worry about him) Then he got up walked over to a group of kids and started playing (well after seeing this, I know he will be alright).

Well it was time to pick him up and find out how he liked it. He run out of the class room and said he loved it, he didnt stop talking about what he did. we got home and he said that he wanted to go back to school again I said he could in the morning,well no he wanted to go now hehehehe very cute.

The next day he was ready at 7am,dressed with the bag on his back, shoe laces undone,and yelling to stephy to hurry up to get dress so we could walk him to school.

Oliver started school too He is so happy to be back, He couldn't wait to see what teacher he had, well when he found out it was Mr Young he was over the moon, so it looks like we will have a great year this year.

I can't belive my boys are at school,they grow up so fast. ; (

I'm still alive but my computer is having a face lift,so that is why i have not been updating in a long time, i miss reading every one's blog but I'm hoping in a week or two i will be back, once again my computer is giving me the s#%*s, It looks like we have losted all of our data on the computer I mean ALL, business stuff, photo's, everything from about6 years ago, I have saved a few things on Cd's. But a few months ago we got an external hardrive to put everything on it for a back up plan.so our computer has more space and it could work a bit faster, it was the best thing. I was happy that we did that, well after 3 months it didn't what to work, our computer didn't what to work too. GGRRRR. When the external hardrive didn't what to start up my heart stopped my babies photos are on it, so I got my mate to have a look at it, NO good news, still no photo's after hours and hours trying to look for it still nothing. FINGERS CROSS.

The good news is that we can get it back but it will cost a couple of thousands YES thousands to get it back. what i did find out that most peoples computer has a life time about 5 years then the hardrive in your computer will die, but in our luck both of our hardrive died in one hit. it was not from a storm, it was not a virus, it just stopped. You may think the external hardrive was a cheap one but it wasn't it was one of the best you can get on the market because we did our research on hardrives, no good that that did.

SO that is it, I do feel very sorry for myself at the moment. so please everyone please do your best to back up at least 3 times and don't count on only external ones.

Well I don't have alot of photo's of Xmas because i used my video camera most of the day, I have to say we had a fab time, Xmas eve I made a lovely dinner for my parents,Pat Matt's mum and my little group, It was the first time in years that we sat down and had a meal together it was very lovely,the kids were really good, so after dinner the kids open one gift then bed, well i through we would of had to fight to get the kids to bed but they were asleep before
there heads hit the pillow.Mum and dad stayed the night so they could see the kids faces in the morning. I was the one who couldn't sleep that night hehehheheh.The kids had everything that they wanted, so it started off great,but the Biggest surprise was my new camera from Matt,(still trying to work it out).

For lunch we went to Margette's and Alain's place, wow like very 2Nd year it was amazing,the food was amazing, the family/friends were the best people to hung out with for a lovely Xmas dayy.

We got home at about 7pm the kids went to bed,while, Matt, Pat and I played on the Wii heheheh it's a lot of fun.

I will have to try to work out how to put the video on here.

OMG what a week, where do i start.

First thing first I had a great/best weekend that we have had in a long time. My good mates Angela and Marcus came over to stay the weekend. I just love it so much when they come up, it's full of laughing and telling stories and more laughing. we don't see each other very much but every time we do get together i remember how much i miss them. I have to say i don't miss the hangover the next day. Marcus that is the last time I drink black Russians (kahlua, vodka and coke) with you.

Monday night i get a photo call from an old mate from school saying that i need to be on facebook because heaps of old mates are on there. well for the last few days i have been glued to facebook and loving everything about it. It's so good to see so many familiar faces. Today I found one of my greatest mates. I had to do a happy dance in my chair. we haven't seen each other for ten years. I don't know why we stop ed talking but it's going to be so great to see him sometime next year. I'm hoping there will be a small reunion with the old gang. but i have to say I'm a bit scared because most of them are still very much still partying hard and after my weekend that just past i will be asleep before dark LOL.

I started climbing again, I forgot how much I love it, It came back to me so easy/well it was hard to get to the top with the extra kg's. I climb with Brigitte it was her very first time but she did really great, maybe we could to it twice a week some day hint hint hehehe. I was a bit sore today while work in the gardens pull out weeds and cleaning up garden beds.I cant wait till next week.

Nick had his first tooth out this week, his tooth was wobbly for about a month. so Monday morning it was just about to fall out and i said to nick just pull it out then the tooth fairy will come. He didn't want to pull it out the easy way so he had to jump on the trampoline while pulling it out lol.

The next morning nick said that the tooth fairy is a very nice girl because she gave me $4.70 for my very first tooth. very sweet kid. if you are asking me why $4.70 is because i forgot all about the Baum tooth, I remembered at 3am in the morning so i didn't have time to count.

OK it has been a long time since posting, But to tell you the truth I just didn't have it in me to blog or to scrap or even taking photos. Like I say in the last past I was not feeling to good, well it took a lot long to get back into things, But things around here still has to get gone, so the time i did have to myself I couldn't be bother. WEll on the weekend it was back everything hit me and I did 5 layouts Yes 5. NOW you may say that is not alot, but for me that is heaps.

The 1st one is Oliver with his broken elbow, I like it, I used one of the xrays in it.

the 2ND one is nick wanting to be a ghost, kids come up with the funnest things, he wants to be a ghost because ghost don't have to breath, he is just tired of breathing. his new nickname is ghost nick.

The 3rd is Stehy, this is how she is wearing her shoes at the moment, there is a fight ever time we go out. I'm thinking is it really worth fight over how she wears her shoes (mm mm no).

Well I'm an 80's girl and in the 80's there was a show called Punky Brewster, now i was the biggest fan I just love that show (still do love it). I had the Punky t-shirt, the Punky bag, the punky things. So when i first saw Stephy wearing her shoes like that I had a little LOL moment.

OH last week was the Art and craft exhibition at the school, well it was great, but A very long day I got there first thing in the morning to help put up the art, then came home for an hour and a bit then back at the school 6pm for the opening.I have to say it looked great. I sold my very first photo, well I'm very happy with myself. I did take photo's of it but only a few turned out GGGRRRR. The photo I sold was the one with the pentanque balls (doing a little dance in my chair).

I have been working in an amazing garden last week, the views are breath taking. You see the 3 sister in one open part of the garden, and the rest is the valley, I couldn't wait for a lunch brake. Not only the view was amazing but there was wallabies jumping around watching me work and lyer birds making a mess in the garden beds lol not happy jan lol.

How lucky am I, I have 3 little monkeys healthy and happy.I love them so much. just wanted to show them off to my family and friends.
Oh I have some great news the climbing gym in Leura is now open. Next week I'm going for my first climb in a year or so. I cant wait but I have put on some weight, so it will be very hard to get to the top.

Well first thing first Oliver has a crack in his elbow, Its funny after three hospitals, four doc, couple of xrays and a few hundreds dollars later we know what is wrong. there is something wrong with the health system in Nsw, No one wanting to take responsibility to fix up an elbow you have to pay doc alot of money to say what to do. So Oliver is in a new cast for two weeks, then we will see what to do next after more xrays. So new update in a few weeks.

We had a really lovely weekend Sunday we sat around at mum's place with a few friends and eating pizza drinking wine and playing petanque.It was so lovely to just play around and let my hair down. here are a few photo's that i took while sitting out of a game. The one on the top of the post will be going in the art show at the school in Nov, I'm trying to think of a name for it, thinking about "having control" hehehe funny i think because a man has his balls in his hands.

MARKETS

Wow what a weekend I had, It was full on, AT the moment I don't know if it was a good one or not, I have mix feelings about it, my feet are Numb,my eye are tired but I'm feeling good.

I did two markets this weekend, Saturday was with mum at castle hill selling whisk and pins stuff, there was yummy muesli, dried fruit and biscuits, we had to bring Nick and stephy with us because Matt (hubby)had to do the milk run so he took Oli with him.The night before the very early start 4am, Nick was sick, man Nick can vomit, all night long/morning (nick and i had no sleep).You know when you just have to be somewhere and there is nothing you can do about it,well that was me. poor little man, even just before getting in the car he was sick again i don't know how he had anything in his belly.

anyway we got at castle hill and started to unpack the car, poor Nick was so tied that he was sleep walking so I got his car seat out and put it under the table, well he was fast asleep for a few hours while the market was on (very cute).

Stephy just loved the whole thing about the markets, the people, the food. but i think the best bit was that she meet Huey (Iain Hewitson) from the cooking show, well she was so happy about that.The kids love watching him cook on the telly. So after I got the courage to go and ask him a photo with stephy,the camera man wanted to film stephy with him, I can tell you that she loved it there was people everywhere and she just played it well.

Look at the people around the our stall and Nick was asleep under the table.

On the way home was not fun at all, Stephy was sick and we were to slow to get the bucket this time and it went everywhere, NOW I don't know about you but I'm not very good with vomit but i can clean up it normal, but in a car and a enclose space is a different thing. gggggrrrrrr.
It was a very early night, for all of us that night.
I got up feeling not to good myself, but after a hot shower at 5.30am i was feeling good, Nick was already up eating his weet bit and watching t.v he was fine. Nick and Oliver was with me at blackheath today only because dad was there selling bread while i was selling the nougats. after an hour into it Oliver said that his arm was really sore gggggrrrrr. Matt came to pick him up and took him to the hospital, well he is in a cast, there is something wrong with his elbow but still cant tell, so on Wednesday he has to get other xray done, then they will see if he will need an operation. boys will be boys.
Dad has made a wood fire oven, for the past few month it been his passion, so now that it is finish, we are having pizza for dinner tonight.
So now you know why i don't know how i feel at the moment LOL.

First thing first Thanks everyone who gave us the best wishers and asked how Oliver is, the text es, the phone call, the email and the cards was so lovely to get. SO the good news is that it's Ok they don't think it a fractured but it's still to hard to tell, he will be sore for about a week but should be good.

I haven't been scrapbook this week, I have been doing a book for the kids, like a diary, I been wanting to do one for so long. I'm really loving it. it's so easy no fuss to do just put a photo of the things that they are doing then write about, it's not only things they do but things about them too.

Ok what else, I was looking at Donna blog and she was doing an art journal, I just love her art work and the things she does, anyway she got inspired by Suzi Blutube. NOW just a bit of a warning she is a bit out there, the first time I saw it i was like WTF, but after a few post and you tube post I got hooked, I got inspired to do one myself, I'm not good at drawing, or painting but I'm giving it a go. I found an old reading book that i didn't like the read of it and started painting it in white and started my first page I don't have a photo of it, maybe my next post. go and have a look at Susi post.

That is it from me going to play around with the kids outside before it starts to raining.

OH one more thing, a few weeks ago i came across some really yummy nougat I fell in love with it, In my mine i thought i could sell these at the markets, so a few days ago i got boxes of Nougat, so if you are in the blue mountain stop by at blackhealth markets on Sunday and have a look around at all the yummy things there, I will be up there selling french nougat, it's gluten free too, Vanilla pistachio, Vanilla almond, chocolate pistachio, hazelnut almond choc, cherry cranberry pistachio, and wild berry macadamia.

I get a phone call this morning from Meg my sister in law who has Oliver in Nelson bay, She says Oliver has had an accident and his on his way to hospital, ( you never want that phone call), I can tell you everything just froze, the next few minutes was fuzzy, (just writing this is making me cry i don't want that feeling ever again) next thing i hear ed on the phone was he could have a broken arm. The only thing i remember saying was oh no not my baby,how? Well He was riding a bike to fast and flipped over on the handle bars. So the next few hours I'm sitting at home try not to pull my hair out, I couldn't do a thing, he was 3 hours away, just waiting was one of the hardest thing to do. I spoke to Oliver a few times on the phone, that made me feel a bit better to know he was OK but still in a lot of pain in his arm. Matt came home early to drove up there,the time Matt got there we found out that his arm is not broken but there is so much swelling around the elbow that there cant see if there is a fractured in the elbow. GGGGGGGRRRRRRR kids, so they have told us to go back to the hospital in a few days if it's still sore and get other xray on it.
So that was my lovely Monday GGRR Oliver should be home in the morning, I cant wait to get my arms around him and give him so much TLC.
That phone call gave me 10years.

Have you ever been hit by a bus before, well it feels like i have that last few days, how can you feel great one day and the next you feel like dieing,even opening my eyes were killing me, my body was sore all over, anyway feeling heaps better today it's just my head now.

What did i do this week instead from dieing, Tuesday had a lovely day a Brigitte's place, I have to say she has 2 lovely kids both very sweet kids (I didn't just write that because i know you will be read this Brigitte but because you did a great job with your kids).The two Nick's played great together,they got along really well, I have to say I was a bit worried about my nick how he will go playing with other kids, he has always been a hard kid to please when he finds new friends to play with, but the last couple of months he has open up and allowed kids in. Anais is a beautiful young girl Thanks for your help Anais on naming one of my layouts (it's a colourful world).

Kids free weekend

We were lucky to have a kids free weekend, It was the first time we didn't have the kids, Oliver has gone to Nelson bay for the school Holiday, and the two little ones went to mum's. Mum and dad took them to a friends farm to see the animals. So like we didn't have to be anywhere or run around after kids, Matt and I had a great time, it was like dating again, well we made it as a date, it's been so long that we have been alone together, I was a bit scared we wouldn't know what to talk about or do together, but it was like riding a bike you never forget how much we love each other. On Saturday we went to Penrith to play mini golf, Matt won by ONLY two, then we had a few hits at water golf, just hitting the ball in water, well you have to try to get the ball in the basket, I was no were near it,Matt was trying to hit the ball over the dam, got close a few times but couldn't do it, but i have to say it was windy and it was pushing it back to us.

We had a look around the mall, we updated our mobile phones to a Nokia E65 I have the red one and Matt has a black one, I have to tell you it's so hard to work out, I'm not very good with electronics things so it's doing my head it, what happen to the phone that you can text talk and play games on, this phone has a manual has big has my camera maybe even bigger.

We decided to go and play a few games of ten pin, well i have to say i played so bad that i just LOL at myself, Matt did really good. can't remember the scores but that was fine by me, yes it was that bad. I forgot to take photo's because we were having so much fun that time just flew by.

We went out to dinner too, we had Thai, it was yummy,got home and there was no mess no toys on the floor just a normal house, went to bed early it was a full on day. I have to say it so imported to go out the with your husband or partners when you have kids, you meet the person before you have the kids and have a great time, and the minute you have kids life goes upside down and round so fast you forget about each other. Don't get me wrong I love having me little monkeys but it was so nice to have Matt all to myself.

Wow Sunday morning there was no kids watching you sleep,there was no mum he did this to me, mum she bit me, mum can we have o.j with weetbits,mum the dog ate my shoe, no nothing, it was so quite that it was a bit eyre, but nice, we didn't do much at all today,just hung out at home, oh we did go to the auction place in katoomba, love that place it was my first time there but it will not be the last, so much get stuff, the bad news is we didn't win anything but the good news is we did spend anything. so that is it from me.

Cant wait till tuesday to go and play at Brigitte's place

What a fab weekend we had, two days of food, drinking and family. It was Liz's 21st birthday she looked great. Helen did an amazing job,with the whole two days,The decor about the pool was lovely and the food was yum, Helen makes the best salads in the world,oh and she made a great birthday cake too. All the kids got along great,on the Saturday it was a bit chilly but it was better like that because with all the alcohol consume there would of been more worst to wear in the morning lol,Sunday was so hot and lovely that all the sore headed people sat around

and taking it easy,but after Helen's great lunch everyone was getting back into it, that was our quay to go lol. thanks for a fab time but before we got back on the road we had to have an ice cream on the wharf, well we were not expecting any thing to happen down there so while sitting on the bench on the wharf a guy dress in a borat swimmers jumps in front of us into the water,wtf, we turn around and there is about 20 young guys LOL with a video camera, so I'm having a look on youtube for it.

Well yes I'm still alive, just been very busy this week, who knows what i have been doing.

Last night I went to the movie with my mum and dad, I can't think that last time i went to the movies with my parents but i think it was the time E.T came out. We saw La vie en rose, I grow up listening to Edith Piaf, so seeing what a horrible life she had was heart braking, I cry ed most of the movie and there was a few funny apart. The actress Marion Cotillard (who played Edith) was amazing.

We are off to Nelson's bay this weekend for my niece Eliz's 21 st Birthday, I'm so looking forward to getting up there, I miss the beach. It looks like we are going to have a full weekend ahead of us.

well it's been a long time since I had a good play with my camera, here are a few nice shot's that I took today.

It was a really nice week I had this week, One of the best things is that we have finish one of our biggest landscaping jobs this week. I'm so proud of Matt he did most of the garden and it turned out amazing, In 5 years time this should/will be a show garden. The clients are over the mood and that is the main thing.
Had a lovely afternoon at Brigitte's place on Tuesday, the kids had a great time playing around. It's funny to see how kids can just play around with one other with no worries in the world.
I'm getting ready to put some photo's up for the art show at the school on the 8Th November.

Happy dad's day to all you dad's. We had a great day, got up at 6.30am ggggrrrrrr, with the kids jumping on Matt saying happy father's day to you, very cute but way to early.

We didn't do much in the morning, we planed a picnic for lunch. It was a amazing afternoon, playing around at wentworth falls lake. Feeding the ducks, Roley Polly's down the hill, playing ball games and a lovely walk around the lake.

Got home and the oldest (Matt)and the youngest (Stephy) had a nap in bed, while the good looking ones played outside (Nick, Oli & Me :0). It was like a summers day here today, so tonight we just had to have a BBQ.

oh and some great news about Eoghan my nephew is fighting fit, after he got some blood cells in him, he got out of bed and started to feel heaps better. He still needs to get his heart looked at every month but it's looking good.

One of my fave buildings in the city hahah

Saturday night Matt and i thought to go down to Manly in the morning. Up early to get a full day at the beach. We got there at 9 am and the place was packed we hundreds of people sitting in cafes walking the mall, I have to say Matt and I was very overwhelm with the amount of people around.

The one reason why we went to Manly was because great old mates (they are brothers) open a burger place last Wednesday so after hearing about the yummy burgers we had to go and try some out. Lets just say it was worth the trip down to just have the most yummiest burgers ever, but while down there we had to go and have fun on the sand,we didn't go swimming only because the kids has been sick of the last couple of weeks so we didn't want them to get sick again. the address of

well it was full on, so much has happen this weekend that i think i will need a week off LOL.

So on Thursday it was Misses birthday so we had a lovely day playing around with anything she wanted to do, so must of the day we were outside it the cold riding the bikes. Then later that day playing with her Mr potato head, that she got for her birthday. In the mean while i was cleaning the house because Matt's mum is coming on the Friday, mean you I was high on painkillers at the time because I have a tooth ache, I was in so much pain. After being on the phone for a hour to find a dentist (my dentist is on holidays gggggrrrr), found one who saw me at 3.15pm I was out by 3.30, $180 later feeling heaps better, well not the pocket.

Friday morning I went to the photography class, we were get some photos ready for the show in Sept at the school, Next week we will be mounting the photo's, how exciting. So after the class I had to go up town to get some of my photos enLAGERED.Then the shopping. Pat came later in the afternoon.

Saturday was Nick's Birthday so we thought it would good to go to the snow day at the sky way,WOW it was great had a lot of fun and did heaps of things. throwing snow ball(not real snow), face painting, snow hunt,magic tricks, heaps of entertainment for the kids. but i think the best bit it was all free. so after a yummy lunch at the cafe,I had to get ready for dinner with the family party, Nick asked to have crepes for dinner,yum one of my fav too. so like every birthday dinner i have to put all the party things up like the streams, balloons, the dinning room looks.

Sunday was Blackheath markets so like Pat was here we went up there, then I knew how much she loves antique thing i took her to the big antic place in Blackheath, after she was there for 2 and something hours ggggggrrrrrr, Mum called me to say we should go to lunch somewhere after dad has finish working at the markets. So off we went to MT VIC hotel to have lunch in the sun. got home and crashed. all the walking around looking at old thing, was killing my feet and Matt's.

so like you can see it was a non stop weekend, but to top things off Stephy fell sick after that busy weekend, poor little thing she is not well at all, so fingers cross she will get better soon.

So this month is the kids birthday so every year we get a group present and one for there birthday day. I cant believe we got the kids mice for there group presents, What were we thinking at the time. The kids loves them, they really do (oh the cat thinks they are alright too ). I have to say they are not to bad, Stephy has called hers Princess, Nick called his Jack and Oli has called his Stewart, mine you they are all girls.

Princess is a very quite and lovely one, she will just sit on your lap, great for Stephy.

Nick is getting use to his mouse, very friendly one

Stewart is a what can i say, a little @%*!, but getting heaps better with handling.

Apart of the mice Matt got himself a 2ND hand ride on mower this week, so most of today he was fixing it (having fun on it). So after he had finish playing around on his new toy we went for a bush walk down to Katoomba falls, it's so lovely down there. We didn't stay to long because it was a bit chilly.

It was so excellent that I asked if they would give me the recipe. The waitress said with a small frown, "I'm afraid not, but you can BUY The recipe." I asked how much, and she responded; "Only two fifty - it's a great deal!" I agreed to that, and told her to add it to my bill. Thirty days later, I got my VISA statement, and the Neiman-Marcus Charge was $285.00. I looked at it again, and I remembered I had only spent $9.95 for two Sandwiches and about $20.00 for a scarf. NEIMAN-MARCUS COOKIES (Recipe may be halved)

2 cups butter

680grms chocolate chips

4 cups flour

2 cups brown sugar

2 tsp. (Bicarb) soda

1 tsp. salt

2 cups sugar

510grms (grated) Cadbury chocolate

5 cups blended oatmeal

4 eggs

2 tsp. baking powder

2 tsp. vanilla

3 cups chopped nuts (your choice)

Measure oatmeal, and blend in a blender to a fine powder. Cream the butter and both sugars. Add eggs and vanilla, mix together with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking Powder and Bicarb (soda). Add chocolate chips, Hershey Bar, and nuts. Roll into balls, and place two inches apart on a cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes at (180) 375 degrees. The above quantities make 112 cookies. PLEASE KEEP THE RECIPE AND SEND IT TO EVERY PERSON YOU KNOW WHO HAS AN E-MAIL ADDRESS! This is not a joke-it's a true story.

So lucky for me I had all the goodies in the cupboard so I made a half a patch OMG they are YUMMY. Watch out lady in the photography class tomorrow.

Most of what I really need to know about how to live, and what to do, and how to be, I learned in kindergarten. Wisdom was not at the top of the graduate school mountain but there in the sandbox at nursery school. These are the things I learned: Share everything. Play fair. Don't hit people. Put things back where you found them. Clean up your own mess. Don't take things that aren't yours. Say you're sorry when you hurt someone. Wash your hands before you eat. Flush. Warm cookies and cold milk are good for you. Live a balanced life. Learn some and think some and draw and paint and sing and dance and play and work some every day. Take a nap every afternoon. When you go out into the world, watch for traffic, hold hands, and stick together. Be aware of wonder. Remember the little seed in the plastic cup. The roots go down and the plant goes up and nobody really knows how or why, but we are all like that. Goldfish and hamsters and white mice and even the little seed in the plastic cup -- they all die. wow cant believe how quick this weekend went past, love having the weekends off. I'm feeling on top of things at the moment, the great news is that I'm off the depression pill, and going really good, I really think that for me dealing /walking away with negative people in my life is a huge part of helping me with my depression. I spent hours talking with the person who trigger it. I feel so good to get it out and tell them how I feel about them, it doesn't mean I have forgiven them,I don't think I can, but we are moving on.

but it feels so good to have the people who can give me the positive in my life, the main people are my family and my true friends who has stayed with me at the most ed hardest time in my life, it's the little things that count that helped me like, how a really feeling/asking for my advice/having a cup per/ lovely emails,cards. so big thanks to you guys, you know who you are.

anyway Friday night the family went out to dinnerhad a great time sitting there having fun

*Saturday night had a movie night with the kids we watched barn yard very fun movie.Matt and I LOL more then the kids

*I made a lovely box to put my ribbons,so happy how it turned out.

OMG what a week I have had, most people knows that I finish working at the Swiss cottage, So I was hoping that I would get 1 or 2 weeks off before I can get back into work, well it started soon then I hoped, working with Matt is going to be ready good we have great ideas for the few gardens that we are doing, but it's nothing like working in a kitchen, everything you do in gardening takes so long to get anywhere,we a building a deck and garden beds at the moment, all the nuts and bolts you have to screw for the deck takes forever, and very time I dig a hole for the garden bed I hit rock so that takes longer to work around, but the good thing is that I know what I'm doing, the night before if I'm not 100% sure and Matt is to busy to help me I call my dad or Google. (forgot to take photo's show you next time). So you are asking where are the kids, well first Oliver's at school, and mum looks after the kids for a day and there is daycare too. So the days I'm not out in the cold,I'm on the phone or net trying to find supplies, so happy with myself today saved on $400 on plants, mm mm could get heaps on scrabooking things with that LOL (joking Matt).

so talking about scrapbooking I have my nights to scrap, I have been busy making a book for a great family friend,we are having a Xmas in July in the next few weeks and I thought it would be nice to make something. here are photo's of the mess. I will take photo's of the book when i have finish making it

well that is it for me have to get back into it, the house is a mess and going to Penrith tonight with mum to shop at target for the toy sale.

Had a lovely trip to Cowra today, we went to see family and to pick up a few wood post. It was so nice to see Eoghan and Lecksi they have grown up so fast.

They have a new pet chook called Pumpkin, Eoghan was telling me all about his mate and how he eats the eggs, very cute.

just a quick post ! Monday did a class using MEL'S papers, I really like her papers very easy to work with I did 2 layouts there.

I got home and did another but this layout is for the two girls challenge we had to use a quote, yes i did use Mel's papers for this one too.

The last one I'm really happy with just because i have used writing in it too, it turned out great I think.

things to share

So it's been i while since the last time i was on here, Time has flown past again, it doesn't help when you have 3 kids and 2 of them are sick gggrrrrrr.

* I did a spring cleaning here,not only a spring cleaning but changing rooms too, people who knows me I'm always changing the furniture around. So now the boys are in one room, lucky that we only have had a few fight so far. The best bit about moving things around is that i have a scrap room/office, it's working great we have a t.v in there too, so the kids have room to watch t.v and room the play too, I have heaps of room to make heaps of mess,and scrap.

*Last Saturday I did a course on OHS general Induction for construction/ work safety on construction sights, i needed to get a white card for our gardening business, WOWOWOWOWO I got it, It was the easiest test.

*this week is my last week at the Swiss cottage, so after many years of working there it will be the end, I have mixes feels about it. happy sad glad.

*After seeing Sian'shttp://sianyoung.blogspot.com/ mini album I had to do one,so much fun making it,still have a few more pages to put in it.

*It was Sian's 20Th birthday HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIAN.

*I scraped a box to put all my cards and letters that my great pom mate Suzanne sends me every2 weeks. Miss you babe.

* Matt got a new huge landscaping job in springwoods, very happy about that.

Wow this year winter magic was amazing, it was the first time that i really liked it, Matt cant stand the whole thing, so we went up there with Nick and Stephy had a very quite walk around then Matt took the kids home, So i was up there for hours taking photo's of all the people who dressed up for it,the atmosphere was rocking,the proformas were entertaining like all ways.

What i loved about it is that you see so many different characters in one place and everyone gets along great.

If you have never been you should come up onE year it's a must see,step out of the square you live in HAHAHA.
